| 1976 October
The Alabama Master Marine Ship building and the Norfolk, VA dock
were acquired.
1976 November
International Oceanic Enterprises ( I.O.E. ) was incorporated.
1976 1977
Two Americans and ten Japanese started fish retail stores in Harlem,
and a fish wholesale business for Japanese restaurants. ( This
later became the New York Fishhouse in 1978.)
1978
Golden Gate Seafood and International Seafood Alaska were purchased.
The lobster business in Gloucester began and lobsters were shipped
to Japan for the first time.
1979
First Japanese Restaurant "Shou Ei" was open in Greenwich
Village, New York. IOE, Inc. purchased Master Marine Seafood Company
in Bayou La Batre, Alabama.
1981
I Travel ( later changed to Seil Travel America, Inc.) was established
at Empire State Building In New York.
1982
A number of Japanese restaurant began to open nationwide.
New Wave Seafood, Inc. in Takoma Park, MD was incorporated.
1983
Kiiroi Hana Japanese Restaurant was opened in New York.
1984
Issei Construction Co., Inc was established.
1986
Shining Ocean, Inc. began marketing Kanimi products to supermarkets
and restaurants. The Kodiak Seafood Company started to market
Alaskan seafood products throughout America.
1987
The Elizabeth New Jersey and Los Angeles seafood plants were bought.
1988
Mr. Johnson J. C. Chai was appointed the second president of I.O.E.
1992 January
Akaihana Japanese Restaurant in Illinois opened.
1993 September
The 1st National Leadership Convention was held at New Yorker
Hotel.
1994 August
The 2nd National Leadership Convention was held at New Yorker
Hotel.
October
St. Louis Fish House, Inc. was acquired by Rainbow Fish House.

1995 April
Hanazushi Reataurant in Virginia won first place for improved
gross sales among IOE clients in 1995.
The 3rd National Leadership Convention was held at New Yorker
Hotel.
July
Sea Ranch, Inc. became a member of the Internationa Oceanic Enterprises.
November
Ranbow Fish House, Inc. held groundbreaking ceremonies for a new
processing, cold storage and distribution facility in Elk Grove
village, Illinois.
1996 January
True World Group, Inc. participated as an exhibitor in a Montevideo,
Uruguay exposition sponsored by the Wacom, Inc.
March
IOE name is officially changed to True World Group, Inc. (D/B/A
True World Group Consulting).
April
Ocean World Seafood Restaurant opened in Indianapolis.
May
True World Group, Inc., subsidiaries and clients participated
in the advancement of business and technology exhibition in Sao
Paulo, Brazil.
1997
True World Foods(TWF). Denver,Portland branches open.
IOE changed its name to True World Group and seafood subsidiaries
changed to True World Foods.
1998
True World Foods. Vancouver branch open.
1999
Central Purchasing LA office open.
Merged No.1 Seafood in Atlanta.
2001
TWF North Carolina Branch open.
Merged Pioneer Live Shrimp in Chicago.
2002
TWF Phoenix Branch open.
Sakurabana Restaurant Open(VT).
2003
TWF Halifax Branch open.
Old Power House open (AK).
2004
TWF Philadelphia Branch open.
2005
Ramen King open(NY).
